Well the time has come to open up the new trail! So, this Sunday November 22nd we be out to cut in the entrance and exit as well as installing the trail signs. If you can please stop out and give us a hand. Last weeks crew deserves a big thanks for coming out and busting their butts on the new trail, so I would like to thank the following people: Irene Visses, Jeff Morgan, Bob Johnston, Steve Erkens, Mike Carnegie and Andrea Strubhar. Also I would like to thanks Darryl Bush and Mike Carnegie for the many hours they spent staining and assembling the trail kiosk (to be installed soon).
TRAIL BUILD DAY INFO (FINAL day for A-1!) WHEN: November 22nd (Sunday) TIME: 9am till noon. PLACE: Swatara State Park trail head at the end of State Park Lane WHAT TO BRING: water and I recommend long pants, sturdy boots, and work gloves.
