Hello, I would like to thank the small and mighty crews that helped with the construction on the new trail at Swatara on Thursday and Saturday. Thanks to Terry Resanovich, Nick Resanovich, Joe Daversa, Chris Shelly, and Andrea Strubhar. Special thanks to Nick and Terry for chainsawing the new trees that fell on the trails after last week’s storm.
Here is a list of the next workdays (if we get enough help this trail can be completed quickly):
WHEN: Thursdays 8/20, 8/27, 9/3 (weather permitting) Saturdays 8/22, 8/29, 9/5 (weather permitting)
TIME: Thursdays @ 6 pm Saturdays @ 9 am
PLACE: Swatara Park Trail Head
WHAT TO BRING: water and I recommend long pants, sturdy boots, and bug spray.
TOOLS: As always I will bring the SAMBA’s tool stash to get the job done!
