Special Thanks To, Mike, Laird, Wyatt, Dave, Gary and Greg We removed and replaced a bridge on Spring Trail. The old bridge was just falling apart, and needed completely replaced. The design came from the IMBA site and funding from Green Mountain Cyclery. Pictures of the old and new Bridge are in the gallery. Matt |

Hello SAMBA, First I want to let everyone know that the workday at Swatara Park on Sunday, October, 19th is canceled. Second I want to let you know that the new trail, AA, at Swatara Park is open! Thanks to the help of Dave Demoss, Terry Resanovich, Joe Daversa, Lisa Carter, Mike Carter, Brad Doxtater, Derrick Hoffer, Mark Perez, and Andrea Strubhar two Saturdays ago. Trail AA is an out and back loop that starts at the top of A. New map coming soon! Lastly, someone has been ripping out the trails signs at Swatara. J. Edward Scout Reservation, Fall 2008 Work Days Fall trail work-
- Sunday October 19th- 8:00 am main pavilion. We will be building a new bridge to replace one that is currently falling apart on Spring Trail. Green Mountain Cyclery is donating the funds for materials, but we need to supply the labor.
- Sunday November 2nd- 1:00 pm, Main pavilion We will be doing several small projects to get ready for winter.

Per Jeff Morgan's email: Camp Mack will have cub Scout events the first 3 Friday evening\Saturday afternoons in October.They will be armed with B-B guns and bow and arrows. |

Hello SAMBA As a reminder we will be working at Swatara Park this Sunday. The plan is to meet at the main parking lot on State Park Lane at 9am and work until about noon.
