Special thanks to Matt McElheny, Brian Arnold, Andrea Strubhar, Ron Laughlin, Don Newcomer and myself for clearing trails 2, 3, section of 5, most of 9, and 15. Also, I know there are "others" who helped throughout the park the past two weeks and all efforts are very appreciated. For the most part travel throughout the park should be relatively clear. If anyone sees any trees or large branches that require a chain saw give me a shout. Now, lets get out and enjoy the trails!!! Desiree

FYI - There will be trail work crews throughout the park this weekend clearing large branches and trees off various trails. Please exercise caution when approaching anyone using a chainsaw and make sure the saw operator makes contact with you before passing by. Also, the Bouldering competition this Saturday Nov. 12th starts with registration at 8am. Please be aware of increased foot travel on trails 4 and 15 as competitors and spectators access the bouldering sites. Yield to anyone on foot. I also suggest parking at Monument Rock or the 117 parking area. This looks to be like a great event so please lets show our full support. Last, a big, big thanks to all folks who have helped with trail clean up. It has been noted that many trail users have pitched in and helped clear debris on their own and these efforts have been recognized. Feel free to contact me with your time so it can be reported to the board. Thanks as always and see you out there, Desiree
