Update from SAMBA Mack: New trail, new map, logging, and horses We received the ok from Gary to proceed on a new section of trail, and will be sending out a work day e-mail (looking like beginning of April). SAMBA has been working with local scout leader and landscape architect Mike Newman, to create a professional map to be posted in the camp and on our site.The latest draft is here. Other then a few select areas that need better definition, it's brilliant. Horses in the Camp:I discussed the issue of horses in the camp, and Gary's position is that as long as they are on the jeep trails and not single track. He has no issue and this does not become the weekly ride area of the horses. IF you see horses, be polite and remind them they are in a Boy Scout camp and must stay on the jeep trails.
